Classroom

Here are some pictures of my classroom... pre kids... it does not stay as in order when they are there=)

The pictures of the wooden contraptions are standers that we put some of my guys in that cannot walk.. We strap them in and crank it up till they are standing and then they are able to manipulate some stuff with their arms that is in front of them... Kind of scary looking but a neat way to get them in a different position...

The little white box with all the stuff hanging down is the "little room" I will put my little guys in there who are very low functioning and there board under them resonates all the sound they make when they reach for anything above them...

The room with the beanbags is the sensory room... it is actually a black light and everything glows... some of my guys with Autistic tendencies LOVE that room...very calming for them...

And we have a swing attachments with about 5 different swings to assist whatever child wants to do a little swinging...

We swang on a board swing today and learned how to take turns=)

Once I get past seizures, diapers, and food dodging its a pretty great job.... It is a little physically/emotionally draining but its only the third day and I have a really great team to help...
